Experienced Recruitment Consultant Norwich – Engineering (Permanent Desk) £37,670 -£42,930 + uncapped commission

Your New Office – Norwich Hays Norwich is a well-established office with strong regional coverage across the East of England and beyond. This role sits within a high-performing Engineering team based out of East Anglia, we are expanding the team and looking for two new team members responsible for recruiting permanent Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Managers across the Midlands region. You’ll be joining a collaborative team with deep market knowledge, existing client relationships, and a strong reputation within the manufacturing and engineering sector.

The Opportunity:

  • 1 x Recruitment consultant focussed on permanent roles in East Midlands
  • 1 x Recruitment consultant focussed on permanent roles in West Midlands

This is a 360 recruitment role with a strong emphasis on business development and market growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting permanent Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Managers across the East Midlands
  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Conducting market mapping to identify key clients and talent pipelines
  • Building and maintaining long-term client and candidate relationships
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement
  • Developing specialist knowledge of the manufacturing engineering market
  • Meeting revenue targets and contributing to team success
