Senior Payroll Administrator - Part Time Your New Company A well-established and growing Northern Ireland business operating within a specialist services sector is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join its finance team. Your New Role As Senior Payroll Administrator, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and HMRC requirements.Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, including new starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP, and pension auto-enrolment. Managing payroll and time & attendance queries within strict payroll deadlines. Submitting payroll returns, pension contributions, and statutory payments accurately and on time. Completing year-end payroll processes, including P11D reporting. Maintaining up-to-date payroll records and ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation. Acting as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries. Performing payroll reconciliations and supporting the finance team with payroll reporting and analysis. Collaborating closely with HR regarding employee-related payroll matters. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll system enhancements. Processing PAYE, National Insurance, pension-related activities, and associated payroll administration. A minimum of two years' experience within a high-volume, computerised payroll environment. Experience processing both weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments, and HMRC requirements. Excellent IT skills, including payroll systems and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with Sage payroll software would be advantageous. Previous experience using NTD software would be beneficial but is not essential. Competitive salary and benefits package. Healthcare Cash Plan.
