Data Administrator 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | £26,000 - £28,000 Hays are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation for a Data Administrator to join their Information Systems team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a major ERP implementation programme, ensuring supplier and customer master data is accurate, compliant and ready for migration into a new system. Your New Role As Data Administrator, you will support a comprehensive data cleansing project, helping to improve data quality and integrity across multiple ERP responsibilities will include: Reviewing, validating and cleansing supplier and customer master data. Identifying and removing duplicate, inaccurate or incomplete records. Maintaining master data to support business operations and reporting requirements. Supporting ERP migration and data transformation activities. Monitoring data quality and implementing corrective actions where required. Creating and managing master data structures across multiple systems. Providing support and guidance to system users on data management best practice. Investigating and resolving data-related issues with key stakeholders. Coordinating scheduled data maintenance activities and reporting findings. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality and governance standards. What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you will have: GCSE-level education, including Mathematics. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Previous experience in an administration, data administration or data-focused support role. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and methodical approach to work. Experience with ERP systems, master data management, data cleansing projects or system migrations would be advantageous but is not essential.
