Oversee the production of accurate, timely accounts, budgets, and forecasts while maintaining strong cash flow management. Ensure robust internal controls, statutory reporting, and the effective development of financial systems, policies, and processes.
Work closely with senior leaders and auditors to provide expert financial advice that informs strategic decision-making and maximises resource impact.
- Fully qualified / chartered in either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
- Significant experience in a complex, hands-on accounting role within a commercial organisation, public sector body, or accounting practice.
- A track record of successfully leading organisations through external audit, regulatory review, or compliance improvements.
- Strong capability in sharing best practice and technical knowledge, with experience using multiple accounting systems and leading system development or enhancements.
Flexible working options available. Hybrid work, with the potential for 3 days a week in the office, remainder WFH. Additional flexibility with home working during certain times of the year.
Salary of c£60k + generous pension contribution and holiday allowance. Progression to #1 finance role with an opportunity to shape and own the finance story/team as a whole. Support to help you get there. Mature and professional working environment/culture.
