A forward-thinking organisation is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract in Newcastle. This is a hands-on role focused on managing complex, high-value customer care projects within occupied homes, ensuring issues are resolved professionally, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Customer Care Project Manager, you will take full ownership of larger projects and sensitive cases, including defect diagnosis, complaint resolution, and the development and delivery of effective resolution strategies.

  • Oversee inspections, project management activities, customer communications, and the successful execution of works in occupied homes.
  • Take ownership of complex defects and complaints, managing cases through to resolution with a strong customer-first focus.
  • Manage warranty claims (NHBC, Premier, LABC) in conjunction with the Customer Care Operations Manager, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
  • Provide on-site management of high-priority and sensitive cases, coordinating contractors and stakeholders as required.
  • Champion health & safety, ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with company policies and procedures.

Proven experience in contract or project management within residential construction or customer care is essential. Strong knowledge of defect management, warranty providers, and working in occupied homes is required. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary, along with a strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
