Senior Project Manager !

Job Overview : We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex transformation projects within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Working across strategic business, consumer and regulatory initiatives, you will be responsible for delivering projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Contract Length

until 31st March 2027 (with visibility to extend)

Rate

£550 per day (Inside IR35)

Location

Newbury (hybrid – twice per week on-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation projects from mobilisation through to implementation.
  • Define project scope, requirements, governance frameworks, plans, budgets and resource requirements.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement across business, technical and leadership teams.
  • Provide clear and transparent reporting on project progress, milestones and key decisions.
  • Oversee project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking and capital expenditure management.
  • Champion best practice project management standards, governance and continuous improvement.
  • Key Requirements
  • Significant experience delivering complex transformation projects within large corporate environments.
  • Proven track record managing projects with budgets of approximately £1m-£2m.
  • Strong project governance, planning, risk management and reporting experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
  • Hands-on Project Manager who can drive delivery and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Telecommunications experience is desirable.
