The predicted salary is between 11.7 - 14.3 £ per hour.
You will be joining a growing commercial waste organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to add multiple class 2 HGV drivers to their driver pool to work on skip and RORO lorries.
They have secured multiple long-term contracts in the central belt.
Operating Class 2 skip lorries safely and efficiently, collecting and delivering skips to commercial and construction sites.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and routine safety checks, ensuring compliance with DVLA regulations and company standards.
Load, secure and transport skips containing waste materials while adhering to health and safety procedures.
Maintain excellent customer service by liaising with clients on-site, resolving queries, and ensuring timely skip collection and exchange.
You will need to be able to provide a valid and up-to-date Class 2 licence with minimal points and endorsements.
The shifts will start early and there will be regular overtime during the week and at weekends, paid at an enhanced rate.
You will be offered an immediate start with a high chance of moving over to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Hays will pay you weekly, and you will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant.
