This is a varied position providing administrative support across the wider business, helping to maintain company standards and supporting different departments to work effectively. Your new role

\n Main Responsibilities

- Providing administrative support across the wider business
- Supporting the promotion, monitoring and maintenance of company standards
- Managing project communications, including confirmations of instruction and requests for information
- Maintaining operation and maintenance files and issuing project drawings
- Issuing and tracking lists of outstanding actions
- Uploading and maintaining compliance documentation
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
- Booking travel and supporting general business arrangements
- Administering waste-management information
- Supporting building-management and records-management activities
- Assisting with staff holiday records, absence recording and wider HR administration
- Providing purchasing and buying cover when required

What you'll need to succeed
\n
\n You will be an organised and adaptable administrator who is comfortable supporting multiple departments and managing a varied workload.

\n The successful candidate should have:

- Previous experience in an administration or business-support role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence managing documents, records and filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach to identifying more efficient ways of working
- Confidence learning and supporting business systems
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A professional approach when handling employee and business information
