Your new role
As a Maintenance Technician, working across a continental shift pattern, you\’ll be essential to keeping production running smoothly. You\’ll carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support equipment upgrades. Working across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, you\’ll help improve efficiency and reliability across the site.Key duties include:
- Planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Equipment installation and modifications
- Fault-finding and problem resolution
- Record-keeping and inventory management
- Supporting safety and 5S standards
Shift pattern:Continental 12-hour shifts:
- 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm)
- 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am)
What you\’ll need to succeed
- NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds qualification with a completed apprenticeship
- Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Effective communication and time management
- A proactive, adaptable mindset
