Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you\’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment. You\’ll work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems-responding to breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and supporting upgrades and installations.Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across various systems
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
- Supporting equipment installations, relocations, and modifications
- Maintaining accurate records and inventory
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting 5S principles
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime
Shift pattern:Continental 12-hour shifts:
- 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm)
- 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am)
What you\’ll need to succeed
- NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds qualification with a completed apprenticeship
- Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Effective communication and time management
- A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving
