We are currently seeking an experienced Programme Planner to support a major transformation programme within NS&I. Working within the Project and Programme Management Office (PMO), you will play a key role in supporting Programme and Project Managers with the creation, maintenance and governance of programme plans, ensuring successful delivery against strategic objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale transformation programme and contribute to a complex organisational change initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage programme and project plans.
- Support Programme Managers and Directors in planning and delivery activities.
- Ensure programme teams understand project schedules, dependencies and milestones.
- Monitor progress against plans and highlight risks, issues and delays.
- Maintain planning standards, governance and reporting processes.
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple work streams and stakeholders.
- Provide accurate schedule reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Programme Planner or Senior Project Planner within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong planning and scheduling expertise using recognised project planning tools.
- Experience supporting large-scale programmes through PMO or Programme Management environments.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks and critical path activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Active SC Clearance or ability to work in an SC-cleared environment.
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting organisations through large-scale migration or platform transformation programmes.
- Previous involvement in banking platform migrations or financial services transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within the financial services or banking sector.
- Experience delivering programmes within highly regulated environments.
