Are you an experienced Service Transition Manager with a passion for delivering seamless service go-lives and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to coordinate and manage the transition of IT services into BAU, ensuring they meet defined acceptance criteria and are fully aligned with operational requirements.

The Role

You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day Service Transition activities, ensuring structured processes are followed and services are introduced into live environments efficiently and effectively. You'll provide recommendations on go-live readiness, early-life support, and service acceptance, acting as a critical link between delivery teams, suppliers, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end transition of IT services into live operations.
  • Ensure clear, comprehensive service acceptance criteria are defined and met.
  • Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders across projects, suppliers, and operational teams.
  • Build strong relationships and advise stakeholders on Service Transition best practice.
  • Plan and prioritise workloads to ensure service design requirements are realised in operations.
  • Support and coach resolver teams in adopting new or changed services.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex service transition issues, driving improvements.
  • Monitor and report on service transition metrics, KPIs, and performance insights.
  • Maintain visibility of all service changes through a Service Transition dashboard.

Skills & Experience Required

  • ITIL Foundation (minimum) with proven Service Transition experience.
  • Strong experience documenting processes, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering results and meeting targets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working within structured IT service environments.

This position is subject to SC level security clearance. If you have this, it will be an advantage. However, if you are eligible for this level of clearance and have highly relevant experience, then please do apply. There is also a requirement to work on-site 3 days per week.
