We are partnering with a growing organisation to appoint an experienced HR Manager into a newly created role. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to build and shape the HR function while leading the organisation’s global mobility and immigration activities. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys operating, both strategically and operationally developing structures, implementing policies, managing employee relations, and coordinating international talent relocation to the UK.

Your new role Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop the HR function, implementing effective policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all HR matters
  • Lead on employee relations activity, managing and resolving ER cases with a pragmatic, compliant approach
  • Oversee global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring a smooth relocation experience for international talent
  • Liaise with external legal partners to coordinate immigration and employment documentation
  • Work closely with HMRC and internal teams on compliance, visa requirements, and reporting
  • Partner with overseas suppliers and stakeholders to support international recruitment activity
  • Act as the key point of contact for employees relocating to the UK, supporting them from offer through to settlement
  • Coordinate onboarding and arrival logistics for new starters
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and visa requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally with experience building or shaping an HR function
  • Strong background in employee relations and managing complex ER cases
  • Experience in global mobility, immigration, or international relocation
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident liaising with legal professionals and senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills with a supportive and pragmatic style
