Behaviour-Focused LSA | Secondary School | Huddersfield Immediate start | Full-time | Until Christmas Are you an experienced secondary school TA or LSA who is confident dealing with challenging behaviour?
We are recruiting for a Huddersfield secondary school that needs a strong, resilient and approachable Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional support with their behaviour and engagement.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable challenging poor behaviour, setting clear boundaries and de-escalating difficult situations, while still being able to build positive relationships with young people.
We're looking for someone who: Has previous secondary school TA/LSA experience Is confident dealing with challenging behaviour Is calm, assertive and resilient Can develop rapport with difficult-to-reach pupils Understands the importance of consistency and clear boundaries Can work effectively alongside teaching and pastoral staff Is available immediately until Christmas Previous experience with SEMH, SEND, behaviour support or alternative provision would be a real advantage.
