Your new company My client has a position available for a Medical Science liaison within Neuropsychiatry to join their Medical Affairs team for a 6-month initial contract. Covering the UK Inside IR35 Field-based role UK – main areas for client visits most likely to be southeast/London, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow. Your new role As the Medical Science Liaison, you will be field-based. You will develop and maintain contacts with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their healthcare system. The purpose of interactions is to ensure patients have access to the companies\’ medicines, to ensure their safe and appropriate use through peer-to-peer discussions aligned with medical strategies and needs expressed by the stakeholders. The scientific dialogue focusses on scientific/clinical information around disease management and the companies\’ products in a fair and balanced way and includes appropriate Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) data. What you\’ll need to succeed In order to apply for the Medical Science Liaison, Neuropsychiatry role, you will be an experienced field medical professional within the UK. You will have experience in Psychiatry or Mental Health Sector. You will possess an M.Sc., MBBS, MPharm, PhD in a related field. You will have strengths in delivering field-led projects, collaborating with cross-functional field and therapy area teams, and a high focus on scientific exchange/customer engagement and relationships. You will have amazing communication skills and be able to communicate easily with healthcare professionals.
