With six offices and a portfolio of prestigious clients spanning Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and more, this firm is expanding its Belfast team due to continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in a thriving consultancy. Based in their new city centre office, you will contribute to high-impact projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help shape the future of sustainable building design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design and consultancy work, including system design, specifications, schedules, and client reporting.
  • Represent the business in client and design team meetings, both internally and externally.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to project planning and workload management.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with ISO standards, CDM legislation, and internal audit processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Building Services discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in building services consultancy.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit.
  • Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
