We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to undertake routine PPM tasks, planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates along with reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required across North London / East Anglia. The role involves developing operational strategies and implementation processes to ensure compliance and success of critical services associated with Vodafone fixed line sites, covering M&E, general maintenance, and soft services.
You should be capable of working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements, and ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks. You may also be called upon to assist with general building maintenance activities.
You will be able to participate in the on-call rota and work closely with supporting mobile engineers.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a commercial environment
- Ideally, have completed an electrical apprenticeship and/or hold City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
- Sound technical knowledge with understanding of all M+E Equipment in modern critical environments including DC electrical systems
- Experience in critical environments is desirable.
