Your new role as an Industrial Engineer will involve analysing, developing improvement plans, and implementing changes in material flow operations. You will drive the development and sustainment of material flow integration within the facility, manage the expansion of material flow with new product introductions, and lead material flow operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Quantifying continuous improvement
  • Developing standard work practices
  • Overseeing indirect labour
  • Assisting with scheduling systems
  • Communicating with team members to achieve overall objectives

What you'll need to succeed is a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent working experience. You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering position in a similar industry (preferably Automotive, Aerospace, or Machinery). Experience with kanban processes, kitting deployment, and sequencing within assembly or manufacturing, as well as knowledge of production processes and systems for discrete manufacturing, are essential. Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components are also required.
