I am working with a leading UK building services provider seeking a QHSE Manager to drive performance across a diverse operational portfolio. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, ensuring robust compliance, continual improvement and a strong safety culture across all functions.

You’ll embed best practice, strengthen management systems, and act as the organisation’s subject-matter expert, supporting operational teams, raising standards, and safeguarding the business against risk.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead QHSE strategy, compliance and culture across a multi-site building services operation.
  • Ensure robust risk assessments, safe systems of work and ISO-aligned management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations and contractor/supply chain compliance.
  • Drive environmental performance, sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting.
  • Deliver QHSE training, support business continuity planning and maintain all accreditation requirements.
  • Provide clear reporting, communication and guidance to senior leadership and operational teams.
What You’ll Need
  • Level 3 H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Strong experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 auditing.
  • Confident in delivering training, reports and practical QHSE guidance.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to influence culture.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability, environmental controls and emerging QHSE trends.
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex operational and compliance challenges.
