Your new company provides integrated asset management for housing associations and local authorities, focusing on improving the living conditions of residents and leaving a lasting legacy in the communities we serve. Our services include responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliance services, and planned maintenance works.
Your new role involves delivering the best quality service by carrying out the replacement of central heating and hot water systems to domestic properties, which will include pipework, radiators, hot water cylinders, valves, and insulation. You will receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve an excellent customer experience.
What you’ll need to succeed: Previous experience in a similar role, ability to work in all weather, operating small hand tools, and following written and verbal instructions. Excellent working health and safety knowledge and knowledge of communal district heating and hot water supplies are essential. Ideally, you will have a social/local authority housing background.
Essential Qualifications Required: Appropriate Level 2 NVQ/SVQ; Level 2 NVQ Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Domestic Heating or Heating & Ventilation. JIB PMES Heating Fitter Blue Card or working towards it. You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
