Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour? This is a rewarding opportunity to join a specialist primary SEMH provision in South Manchester, supporting pupils aged 5-11 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. You will deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, promote emotional regulation, and implement behaviour support strategies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm (after 12-18 weeks)

Start Date: Immediate Start

This Manchester-based specialist setting provides therapeutic and educational support to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs. Operating across two sites, the school offers a structured, nurturing environment with access to sensory rooms, outdoor learning spaces, and a multidisciplinary team including counsellors, behaviour mentors, and educational psychologists. What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Team Teach or similar training (desirable)
