This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of a UK-based, AIM-listed group, as the Group Financial Controller / Company Secretary for the parent company and its subsidiaries. You will be the organisation's trusted expert on corporate governance, advising directors and senior management while ensuring the highest standards of statutory compliance. Working closely with Group Directors, you'll lead the coordination of board meetings, AGMs, governance papers, while maintaining statutory books and staying ahead of evolving regulations, including company law and GDPR.
The ideal candidate will be a highly capable governance and statutory professional, an ideally qualified accountant, though strong applicants with equivalent knowledge and experience will also be considered. They will bring a solid understanding of legislative, statutory and filing requirements, with experience of working within an AIM-listed environment being advantageous but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are key, along with the confidence to work effectively across departments and build strong internal relationships.
In return, you’ll receive a competitive base salary of between £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience), along with a comprehensive benefits package including pension and healthcare aligned to Group policy.
