Interim Fire Safety Manager position for 3–6 months initially, with the prospect of temp to perm.

Your new company is a housing provider based in Manchester.

Your new role as Fire Safety Manager will require you to oversee a team of technical professionals and associated administrative staff, inclusive of the Fire Safety Surveyors. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of residents in a mixed property housing stock. You will ensure that FRA actions are carried out to specification and in line with value for money expectations. You will produce reports of findings and make recommendations on high-risk properties, ensuring that they are dealt with immediately in line with the Building Safety Act.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You will have a proven track record of achieving and sustaining fire safety compliance in the post-Grenfell era, including experience of carrying out fire risk assessments and inspections in residential homes.
  • You will hold a detailed knowledge and understanding of fire protection systems, emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
