Overview
In this high-profile Finance Business Partner role, you will provide financial leadership across a substantial capital investment programme. You’ll collaborate with Estates, Technology and Finance to support infrastructure, property and transformation projects, while ensuring strong planning, reporting and governance. You own capital expenditure reporting, forecasting and budgeting for a broad project portfolio, with exposure to senior leadership. The role offers impact through cross-functional partnership and process improvements within a renowned, innovative organisation.

Responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight of a major capital investment programme
- Own capital expenditure reporting, forecasting and budgeting across a portfolio of projects
- Support governance and robust financial reporting for estates, technology and transformation initiatives
- Present financial information to senior non-finance audiences and stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and value through finance
- Oversee capital project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset accounting and IFRS 16 compliance
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in large, complex organisations
- Proven financial planning, budgeting and reporting track record
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 and IFRS)
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Ability to communicate with senior audiences and influence decisions
