Accounts Semi Senior is required for a leading independent practice firm in Manchester City Centre.
Our client, a well-established and highly respected independent accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a supportive, modern, and client-focused firm.
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and limited companies, supporting senior team members and delivering high-quality accounting services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for SMEs, OMBs, and limited companies
- Preparing management accounts where required
- Assisting with corporation tax computations
- Completing VAT returns and general bookkeeping tasks
- Liaising directly with clients to request information, resolve queries, and support their ongoing accounting needs
- Working with a range of cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in accounts preparation within a practice environment
- Confident communicating directly with clients
- Familiar with owner-managed businesses and limited company accounting
- Studying AAT or ACCA (or looking to start/continue studies)
- Proactive, organised, and eager to progress within a reputable firm.
Hybrid 2 days from home and three days in the office, flexible working and clear development plans.
