Your new role Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role within the finance function, supporting financial reporting, controls, compliance and ongoing business improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation and continuous improvement of monthly management accounts Supporting financial operations across multiple reporting entities Assisting with annual audit preparation and audit deliverables Preparing and submitting statutory and compliance reporting requirements Supporting credit control activities and strengthening financial controls Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters, including activity and rebate reporting Developing a strong understanding of day-to-day business operations Supporting the implementation, integration and development of new business systems and reporting tools Providing post-implementation support and user training across multiple sites Contributing to ongoing IT security and systems improvement projects Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and operational efficiencies What you'll need to succeed Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMAExperience preparing management accounts within a manufacturing, industrial or FMCG environment Strong systems experience with accounting and ERP platforms Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements Experience supporting system implementations or change projects would be advantageous What you'll get in return Competitive salary/ negotiable depending on experienceFlexible working arrangements considered Life assurance Cycle-to-work scheme On-site parking Casual dress environment Opportunity to join a growing business investing in technology, systems and continuous improvement Exposure to both finance and business transformation projects Long-term career development within a thriving manufacturing organisation What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
