Your new company
Our Client in the not-for-profit sector are recruiting a qualified Accountant to join the team on an ongoing temporary basis. The Management Accountant will work on a hybrid basis with offices based in Stirling. The Management Accountant will join an experienced team, supporting the Finance Manager will the delivery of monthly management accounts. This role offers additional cover during a busy time period, and it is anticipated that the contract will be a minimum of 4 months. You will be offered an hourly rate of £29.00 per hour over a 35-hour working week with access to good transport links and available car parking on site.
Your new role
The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing full sets of management accounts for multiple business units. This includes cost and performance reporting, P&L accounts and budgeting and forecasting. You will prepare month-end reports for various stakeholders, offer variance analysis on results and discuss performance with budget holders. You will work closely with ledger teams to prepare end-end management accounts supporting the collation and management of complete information. You will provide best practice in the management accounts process, looking to identify process improvements and streamline operations along the way.
