Your new role requires proven experience in finance systems administration within a multi-entity or project-based organisation. You should have hands-on experience with Mercur, Cognos, BI tools, or similar reporting platforms, and exposure to ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.). Experience managing workflow-based systems (e.g., TEFA, Concur, timesheets) and supervising or coaching junior staff is essential. Additionally, you should have experience supporting month-end and audit processes, as well as participating in system change, upgrades, or discovery phases.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes: project accounting, WIP, cost allocation, timesheets, approvals
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and work with IT/vendors on integrations
  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data validation)
  • Understanding of system controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties
  • Ability to document processes clearly (AS IS and TO BE)
