We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Operative to join a busy construction team based in Castledawson.

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of site-based duties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role is suitable for candidates with previous construction or labouring experience who are comfortable working outdoors and contributing to the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople and site management with day-to-day construction activities.
  • Carry out general labouring duties including site preparation, material handling, and site clearance.
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials around site.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site cleanliness.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
  • Assist with groundwork, concrete works, fencing, drainage, or other construction tasks as required.
  • Report any health and safety concerns to site management.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a site team to meet project deadlines.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid CSR (Construction Skills Register) Card.
  • Previous experience working on construction sites.
