Hays Construction & Property are recruiting on behalf of one of Northern Ireland's leading construction contractors for a Health & Safety Officer to join a major long-term programme of works at a high-profile manufacturing facility in Derry/Londonderry. Renowned for delivering award-winning projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, pharmaceutical and fit-out sectors, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality, safety and successful project delivery throughout the UK and Ireland. This is an immediate requirement, offered on a long-term temporary contract basis through Hays, with a competitive hourly rate and weekly pay. Working closely with site management and project teams, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are maintained across a range of construction and refurbishment works within a live manufacturing environment. Conducting site inspections and safety audits. * Reviewing and monitoring RAMS documentation. *Maintaining health & safety records and compliance documentation. * Supporting subcontractors and site teams with safe working practices. * Promoting a positive health & safety culture across site operations. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification. * Knowledge of site inspections, audits, RAMS and health & safety procedures. * A proactive and practical approach to health & safety management. * Applications are welcomed from both experienced Health & Safety professionals and those looking to further develop their career within the construction industry.
