Treasury Dealer role working for a growing Bank.
Your new role:
- Assist in executing treasury transactions in the money market, FX, and fixed income.
- Support the management of the branch’s short-term liquidity position, including monitoring key metrics (e.g. LCR, funding gaps).
- Prepare daily liquidity forecasts, funding gap analyses, and market commentary.
- Contribute to data analysis and reporting improvements using tools such as Excel, SQL or Power BI.
- Support the preparation of market commentary and internal reporting.
- Support onboarding and due diligence processes for funding counterparties.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Treasury, Risk, Finance and Operations.
- Build working relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop Treasury and market knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive team culture focused on learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and dealing guidelines.
- Follow established procedures for identifying and escalating risk.
- Maintain accurate and timely recording of trades and positions.
- Demonstrate high standards of integrity and professional conduct.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, including FX, interest rates, and liquidity concepts.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of financial products and banking operations.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn data tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Clear communication and ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and Treasury activities.
