An established financial service company is seeking a Prudential risk SME. This position plays a critical role in prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, and strategic risk development, including ICARA, Risk Appetite, and climate related risk.
Responsibilities:
- Support full lifecycle of the ICARA process—framework updates, documentation, model maintenance, and Board level training.
- Deliver quarterly prudential risk reporting for senior governance forums (ERCC, Board Risk Committees).
- Monitor risks trending out of appetite and work with risk owners on remediation.
- Align governance reporting standards across UK, Ireland, and Germany.
- Drive development of Europe wide strategic, emerging, and climate risk capabilities.
- Engage with senior leaders and Company Secretariat to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in prudential risk, prudential regulatory risk.
- Knowledge of ICARA/ICAAP, European regulatory regimes, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
