Are you currently looking for a new position where you will have complete autonomy of a portfolio, work closely with highly reputable partners and work within a growing, supportive and friendly environment? I am currently representing an independent accountancy firm seeking a mixed tax senior to join their growing team. This position involves managing a portfolio of clients and delivering both compliance and advisory services to these clients. The workload is expected to be roughly 70% personal tax and 30% corporate tax.
The role:
- Prepare and review personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio including sole traders, partners, HNWI, non-UK doms, non-residents and trusts
- Prepare and submit P11d forms for a range of businesses
- Prepare and submit corporate tax returns
- Advise individuals and companies on their complex tax issues
- Prepare and submit HMRC forms (e.g. ATED returns, capital gains returns)
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Assist with tax advisory projects for existing clients and prospective clients
- Manage client billing processes
The candidate:
- At least 4 years' experience with a UK practice
- ACA/ACCA or ATT qualified
- Experience in both corporate and personal tax
- Proficient with IRIS or similar software
