Established for over 8 years with a strong local reputation, they cover a range of work from Private Residential Refurb on High End properties to Redec's and Small Works/Maintenance. Their business is established on quality work, repeat business and recommendations, so being professional, well-presented and client focused is key. You will have a trade background or a multi trade knowledge, able to manage up to 2x 100K refurbs and take a hands-on role when required. This role offers a great opportunity to join a small team, work with the two proactive Directors.
They are looking to bring new talent into the team and support your progression in their business.
You will:
Assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of up to 2x 100k construction projects.
Liaise effectively with Directors, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Support project planning, programming, and resource allocation to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitor progress on site and report regularly to senior management.
Coordinate access arrangements, key collections, material deliveries, and site logistics.
Lead and supervise site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
Carry out daily site inspections and monitor compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Ensure work is undertaken in accordance with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, and planning requirements.
Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintaining site records.
Travel between active sites, suppliers, storage facilities, and client locations as required.
Organise and collect materials, tools, plant equipment, and site consumables.
Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available to support programme requirements.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and storage facilities.
There will be times when you are required (along with the Directors) to carry out Hands-On Construction Duties: Act as a working foreman when required, supporting site activities and assisting trades teams. Undertake practical construction tasks where appropriate, including: Carpentry, Decorating, Brickwork & Rendering, Tiling, Kitchen and Bathroom installation, Glazing and Roofing repairs.
Support general maintenance and snagging activities across occupied and completed projects.
Demonstrate a flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team to meet project objectives.
You will have: Previous experience in a construction site supervisory, foreman, assistant site manager, or multi-trade role.
Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations. Full UK Driving Licence. SMSTS or SSSTS (and CSCS Card).First Aid at Work certification. A Trade construction background.
