Due to continued success, they are actively seeking a talented Site Agent to join their delivery team at Sizewell C. This is a full-time permanent position based on site in Leiston.
Your new role: As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of allocated packages of work across the Sizewell C project. Managing site operations from planning through to completion, you will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.
- Managing day-to-day site activities and operational delivery
- Leading engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Developing short-term programmes and coordinating resources effectively
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures
- Managing quality assurance processes and producing project documentation
- Supporting commercial performance through accurate reporting and cost control
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project management teams
- Driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture throughout the project
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, specifications and standards
What you'll need to succeed: In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent, Senior Engineer or Sub Agent within civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations, health and safety and quality management systems
- Experience managing subcontractors, resources and site logistics
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct site teams
- Sound problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a full UK driving licence
