Your new role

As Supplier Relationships Manager in London, you will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships across a financial and commercial procurement environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure supplier performance, ensuring compliance with your new company's regulatory obligations, reducing contract costs and extracting value while building and maintaining strong relationships.

This Supplier Manager role will specifically address technology spend, which will cover anything from software, professional services, hardware, and SAAS. The role will involve supporting supplier negotiations, managing relationships with strategic suppliers, identifying opportunities to improve value and service delivery, and helping to mitigate commercial, operational and regulatory risks. This is a relationship-led position suited to someone who is confident engaging with stakeholders, managing supplier performance and working in a regulated financial services environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management, with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage commercial supplier arrangements effectively.
  • Experience working within financial services or another similar regulated industry.
  • Procurement experience, ideally within a regulated or complex commercial environment.
  • The ability to manage supplier performance, risk and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to commute into the Central London office a few times per week.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability and commercial judgement.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across procurement, finance, commercial and operational teams.
