Your new company

Your new job working as a US Property Senior Broker will be for an established and rapidly growing Lloyd’s Broker. The brokers focus on various lines, including Financial Lines, A&H, Casualty and M&A risks and have a team of specialised professional individuals, who pride themselves on their integrity and diligence. Due to rapid expansion within the Brokers and within the US Property division, a permanent job for a US Property Broker has arisen. This needs to be someone who has strong experience of placing North American Property risks and dealing with Wholesale Agents from the US.

Your new role

Your new job as a US Property Broker/Producer means you will be responsible for a full 360 role: Business Development, Client Servicing, Placement in Lloyd’s and Company Markets and being responsible for the production of technical documentation to include MRC Slips. You will be fully competent and have an excellent working knowledge of various US Property risks, with a particular focus on risks being fed in from the US agent, where you can upsell, cross-sell and really develop the portfolio. You will effectively service client accounts, ensuring you achieve client satisfaction at all times and enhance client relationships. You will be technically astute and be fully competent at producing technical documentation to include slips. You will be encouraged to develop working relationships with third-party brokers and international clients in order to support the business in all aspects of growth. You will have proven client management experience and be able to effectively handle complex US Property (both Binder and Open Market) risks. Must be able to produce or develop business.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Producing Broker or Divisional Director handling complex US Property risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be confident when it comes to dealing with US agents/clients and be able to effectively negotiate competitive terms with Lloyd’s underwriters. You will be able to utilise your enhanced knowledge of US & Canadian Property risks in order to maximise all opportunities to upsell and cross-sell property-related products. You will have proven experience of placing US Property risks on Binders and within the Open Market. You will be technically astute and be confident in producing your own technical documentation. Your previous experience of working in a dual role at a Lloyd’s Broker will demonstrate your ability to prioritise workloads and communicate well within a team. Your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team.
