Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in technical accounting, regulatory reporting oversight, acquisition accounting and policy development.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with a passion for technical accounting and regulatory matters who is looking to move into a broad, commercially focused role.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the development and implementation of accounting and regulatory policies across the groupAssessing the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory developmentsProducing technical accounting papers and providing guidance on complex accounting mattersSupporting acquisition accounting and M&A-related reporting activitiesAssisting with regulatory returns and governance reportingContributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with senior finance and regulatory stakeholders across the businessAbout YouACA or ACCA qualified with 1+ years PQEBackground within FAAS, Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory or AuditStrong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAPExperience or exposure to acquisition accounting, group accounting, technical accounting or revenue recognition would be highly advantageousCandidates moving directly from practice will be considered, particularly those with exposure to Financial Services or Insurance clientsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex accounting issues and present clear recommendationsAdvanced Excel skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindsetWhat's on Offer?
