Key Responsibilities
- Acquisition Strategy and Ownership
- Build and maintain a long-term acquisition roadmap across paid search and social, SEO, AEO, programmatic, affiliates, creator-led, offline, and emerging discovery platforms.
- Define audience segmentation strategies and growth hypotheses to improve efficiency and scale.
- Own channel mix decisions, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance optimisation.
- Execution and Optimisation
- Lead day-to-day execution of acquisition campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Use A/B and multivariate testing to optimise landing pages, messaging, bidding strategies, and conversion funnels.
- Drive improvements in CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, and LTV to CAC ratios.
- Implement structured experimentation frameworks, documenting learnings and scaling successful initiatives.
- Take full ownership of the acquisition budget, ensuring strong ROI.
- Champion the use of AI and automation to increase efficiency and scale.
- SEO and AEO Leadership
- Oversee technical SEO, content strategy, backlink acquisition, schema optimisation, and adaptation to search and AI-led discovery evolution.
- Ensure the platform is optimised for both traditional search engines and generative AI environments.
- Line manage and work closely with the SEO and AEO Manager on strategy, roadmap, and performance.
- Analytics and Reporting
- Define success metrics and build dashboards to track performance across all acquisition channels.
- Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and optimisation opportunities.
- Present clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership, including CAC, ROAS, and funnel performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand, Product, Technology, BI, and Data teams to optimise messaging, user journeys, attribution, and conversion flows.
- Represent Marketing in cross-departmental discussions when required.
- Innovation and Market Awareness
- Evaluate and implement new acquisition tools, platforms, and ad formats.
- Explore emerging channels such as AI search engines and creator-led acquisition.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
