This is a key leadership role within the business, managing a team of four and taking ownership of financial reporting, controls and the day-to-day running of the finance function. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play an important role in ensuring the finance function continues to develop and scale alongside the growth of the wider business.Managing and developing a team of fourOwnership of the month-end close and management reporting processOverseeing statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirementsManaging balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and working capitalEnsuring robust financial controls and processes are maintainedDriving improvements and efficiencies across finance systems and reportingPartnering with senior stakeholders across the wider businessSupporting ad hoc projects as the group continues to growWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial reporting and controllership experience. Experience within retail, consumer or another multi-site environment would be advantageous, alongside a track record of improving processes and controls within a growing business.What you'll get in returnYou’ll receive a salary of 75,000-90,000 plus benefits, alongside the opportunity to join an ambitious, high-growth retail group in a broad and visible finance leadership role.duff@hays.
