A leading international bank is seeking a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join its London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious banking professional to manage and develop relationships across a diverse portfolio of non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), while contributing to the growth of an established global franchise. The OpportunityYou'll be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with institutional clients including:
- Asset Managers
- Insurance Companies
- Pension Funds
- Sovereign Wealth Funds
- Central Banks
- Securities Firms
- Financial Market InfrastructuresWorking closely with product specialists across Treasury, Transaction Banking and Capital Markets, you'll identify client needs, deliver tailored banking solutions and drive revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with institutional clients across London and Europe
- Identify new business opportunities and acquire new FI/NBFI clients
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of financial institution relationships
- Promote a broad range of banking solutions including deposits, lending, FX, cash management, trade finance and capital markets products
- Understand clients' funding, liquidity and strategic requirements to deliver tailored solutions
- Prepare credit applications and support the management of client credit exposures
- Work closely with Compliance and Client Onboarding teams on KYC and due diligence requirements
- Monitor portfolio performance, profitability and risk metrics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise cross-selling opportunitiesAbout You
- 5+ years' experience within Financial Institutions, Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Business Development or Credit Analysis
- Strong understanding of wholesale banking products and services
- Experience covering financial institutions such as asset managers, insurers, pension funds or broker-dealers
- Knowledge of credit analysis, client risk assessment and financial statement analysis
- Understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements
- Strong relationship management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
