This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Derby office with hybrid and flexible working.
Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be the commercial lead for your business area, providing essential financial and contractual support across highways projects. You'll work closely with operational teams, ensuring accurate cost-value reporting and maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include: Financial management and valuation of highways projects Monthly cost-value reconciliation and reporting Supporting site and office teams on contract and commercial matters Attending client meetings and site visits to provide hands-on support Driving continuous improvement and implementing ideas that enhance performance.
What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will bring: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways, surfacing and/or local authority sectors Sound understanding of cost-value reporting and project financials Working knowledge of NEC form of contract, ideally NEC4 (Options B and C) Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations A proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively across teams Full UK driving licence.
