This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering commercial value across the organisation. As the Procurement Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, leading end-to-end procurement activity and embedding best practice across sourcing, tendering, and supplier management.
This is a highly visible role where you will combine commercial expertise, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory awareness to drive better procurement outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement and tendering activity across a range of categories with a strong emphasis on digital, technology and professional services.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans.
- Provide expert advice on commercial strategy, contract development, and risk management.
- Drive value through effective negotiation and supplier engagement.
- Embed robust supplier relationship management (SRM) practices for key suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement regulations and internal governance frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Legal, Finance, Risk, and IT.
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded procurement professional with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
You will have:
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurement projects ideally with some focus on IT.
- Strong understanding of procurement governance and regulated environments.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, tender management, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to build credibility as a business partner and trusted advisor.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance.
- Exposure to a range of service-based categories (IT procurement experience desirable).
