A leading international banking institution is seeking a skilled Risk Manager to join its London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening risk frameworks, working alongside an experienced team.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and enhance risk management processes, focusing on Operational Risk, as well as aspects of Third party and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Support governance, reporting, and compliance activities across European operations.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure robust risk controls and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Support the development of comprehensive risk profiles for 1LoD teams, integrating RCSA results, loss data, and audit findings.
  • Rigorously challenge RCSA results and ensure all identified control gaps are closed via the formal tracking of management actions.
  • Partner with the business to develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in operational risk (1st or 2nd line) within a banking environment.
  • Experience with either third party risk or Enterprise risk.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote per week.
