Hays Education is supporting 2 SEN Trusts to recruit multiple contract qualified Occupational Therapists for roles in the Kingston/Sutton area for up to 12-month contracts. These positions offer the opportunity to work within specialist education settings supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional and complex needs.
The role as an Occupational Therapist within an SEN school includes:
- Assessing pupils' functional, sensory, and motor needs
- Delivering individual and group-based OT interventions
- Supporting pupils with sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills
- Contributing to EHCP outcomes and multidisciplinary planning
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, therapists and families
- Providing practical strategies to support access to learning and daily activities
Roles are available on an up to 12-month contract basis, depending on school needs and your availability.
