Occupational Therapist, Band 7/8 SEN School Complex Needs | West London | Full-time | Long-term / Permanent HAYS Education is recruiting an experienced Band 7/8 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in West London supporting children and young people with complex needs.The role: Manage a complex caseload of pupils with a range of SEN, physical, sensory and developmental needs Complete specialist OT assessments and develop individualised intervention programmes Support pupils with sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, functional independence and access to learning Provide advice around specialist equipment, positioning and environmental adaptations Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, teachers, SEN staff, families and other professionals Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews, reports and therapy outcomes Provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to junior therapists and therapy assistants Help develop and embed effective OT provision across the school We are looking for: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Significant post-qualification OT experience, ideally at Band 7/8 level Experience working with children or young people with complex needs and/or SEN Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and multidisciplinary working skills Previous school, paediatric or specialist education experience is highly desirable Location: West LondonStart: ASAP / negotiable Contract: Full-time, long-term with permanent opportunities availableIf you are an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to work within a specialist school where therapy is integral to pupils' education and development, please get in touch with HAYS Education for further information.
