Your new role
- Manage bookkeeping activities for all trading entities
- Responsible for producing monthly management accounts across three trading entities, delivering accurate and timely reports with accompanying variance and trend analysis
- Oversee payroll processing for both UK and Estonian operations, ensuring full compliance with local tax requirements
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including items such as prepayments, accruals, and accrued income
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations at month-end and maintain key ledgers including debtors, creditors, and intercompany accounts
- Handle the finance inbox and manage day-to-day accounts payable queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide responses to cost and reporting queries raised by teams across the business, including Marketing, Operations, and Sales
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and assist with the coordination of the annual audit process
- Organise and execute supplier payment runs
- Work closely with the Finance Lead on ad-hoc projects, including business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and corporate finance administration
What you'll need to succeed
- 2/3 years experience in a relevant role
- Background in finance (technology or fintech is advantageous) industries is desirable
- Solid technical expertise in financial accounting, reporting, core finance processes/controls and bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of VAT and UK payroll-related tax requirements
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software, MS Excel and Google Sheets at an intermediate level
- Experience working with system integrations and automation tools (e.g., payroll or expense platforms)
