We are recruiting a Senior Manager to lead our high performing People & Strategic Talent desk. This is a warm, relationship driven, high value desk that generated £200k+ last year, with strong PSL access, established client relationships, and a proven track record of strategic hiring across HR, People, Finance and Professional Services.
You will manage a team of three permanent recruiters, work closely with our strong temp counterpart, and partner with an enviable client portfolio including Vanguard, MNK, Magic Circle law firms, US investment banks, CBRE and Lockton. All roles are exclusive, with opportunities driven through ongoing strategic relationships, PSLs, and internal collaboration.
This is a hands on leadership role with significant room for growth and high earning potential.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop a team of three permanent consultants
- Create a high performance culture focused on quality, delivery and long-term relationships
- Collaborate strongly with internal stakeholders and the temp counterpart
- Client & Relationship Management
- Own and grow relationships across FTSE 500s, global firms and scaling SMEs
- Build on existing PSLs, exclusive agreements, and retained partnerships
- Host and attend industry events
- Drive performance of a proven desk generating £200k+
- Fill senior and strategic roles (e.g., CPO, HR leadership, finance and professional roles)
- Maintain an average placement fee of £27k
- Leverage relationships to secure downstream and additional hiring demand
- Proven experience as an FS or HR recruiter
- People management experience - leading and developing a team
- A relationship led approach to sales and client engagement
- Confidence managing longer, consultative sales cycles
- Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and shape hiring strategy
- A mindset that recognises and believes in the opportunity of a high-potential desk
- Strong collaboration skills — this environment is not siloed or mid market in style
