You'll be joining a well-established, London-based law firm with a strong reputation across a range of commercial practice areas. The firm operates a partner-led model and is known for its collaborative culture, long-standing client relationships, and high standard of service delivery. With continued growth across the business, the finance function is expanding to support increasing activity across the firm.
This is a newly created Junior Legal Cashier position within the finance team, reporting into the senior cashiering leadership. You will provide high-quality administrative and transactional support to both the finance function and the wider firm.
Initially, the role will focus on core cashiering and accounts support duties, with clear scope to gain exposure to additional responsibilities over time, including elements of client account work and billing processes as the team continues to grow.
- Processing receipts across client, office and nominal accounts
- Posting payments from office and nominal accounts
- Managing client to office transfers
- Supporting client onboarding, including AML and KYC checks
- Assisting with aged debtors, new matter listings and funds on account reports
- Supporting month-end activity, reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting
A minimum of 1 year’s experience within legal accounts or legal cashiering is required. Experience with legal accounting systems and online banking platforms is advantageous, especially Partner For Windows.
