As Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in enhancing financial insight, improving reporting, and supporting the development of robust profitability analysis. This position is ideal for someone moving out of practice and wanting to build the foundations of a strong commercial finance career.

The Role:

  • Support the Finance function in delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting automation, and operational insight.
  • Work closely with operational and senior finance stakeholders, influencing strategic decision making.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Deliver insightful variance analysis (actuals, budget, forecast).
  • Validate and reconcile data between GL and operational systems.
  • Work with business to understand performance drivers.
  • Take on ad-hoc analytical projects for the Finance leadership team.
  • Develop and improve reporting through Power BI.
  • Support data extraction and transformation using Excel / Power Query.
  • Enhance financial models.
  • Participate in finance transformation and reporting improvement initiatives.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a natural curiosity about the commercial story behind the numbers. You’ll enjoy working with data, systems and stakeholders alike, and be keen to grow into a broad-ranging commercial finance role.

  • Newly qualified ACA (or equivalent).
  • Trained in audit or accounting practice, ideally from a Big 4 Accounting firm or top 10.
  • Strong Excel capability (pivot tables, lookups, structured modelling).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements.
